Written in KoreanHello Generals, this is Hyoseop. It's been a really quiet few weeks in Lotus and in those weeks, I've been thinking.
I've been thinking about a lot of things: which cat food Baeul prefers...how many minutes of extra sleep I can get in before I'm officially considered late for things...and, in turn, what's the quickest route to Lotus from my apartment when considering the morning rush..trivial things like that are always running through my head, but recently, in these quiet weeks, I've been thinking more seriously about the future.
With all of that thinking, I earned both a massive headache and a little bit of clarity. And I took that clarity and talked it over many times. I talked with my manager. I talked with my close friends. I talked with the CEO and the remaining members. And after all of that, I made a decision.
While being an idol was an amazing stage in my life, I've decided to step away from it and open myself to other things. From here on, I will no longer be X.MPIRE's sleepy leader. I'll just be their sleepy friend lol.
I'm sorry if this all seems sudden, but it's been something that has been brewing in my mind for the past few months. Being with my X.MPIRE members has honestly been the happiest time of my life, but I think it's time to move on and find happiness in other endeavors.
Our Generals, please continue to support me even as I move onto this different path in life and please continue to support the other members of X.MPIRE who honestly deserve the world.

After a lot of thinking and discussion, I've made the decision to leave X.MPIRE. I'm sorry if the decision seems sudden, but it's been something that I've been thinking heavily on for the past few months. Being with X.MPIRE has easily been the happiest time of my life, but it's time to move on and find a different sort of happiness and make new connections and experiences.
